200 grams of butter.

150 grams of sugar.

1 large egg.

300 grams of flour.

500 grams of strawberry, pineapple, blackberry jam or the flavor you want.


Grease a large tray and preheat the oven to 200°C while you prepare the shortbread dough.

In a container place the egg, butter and sugar. Then, mix with the help of a manual or electric mixer depending on your availability.

Then, add the flour little by little and continue mixing to form a homogeneous dough. Then, let it rest for half an hour so that the dough doubles in volume.

Cut the dough into 10 pieces to make small balls. Then, put them on the tray and make a hole in the middle to add the jam later. If you want you can help yourself with your fingers.

With the help of a brush, wet the entire dough to prevent it from sticking to each other. Then, add the desired jam into the holes, but be careful not to let it overflow. It is important that the jam is not too light, as this will not allow the desired sweetness to be achieved.

Bake the cookies for about 25 minutes or until they are golden brown. Later, let it cool so you can enjoy it with coffee or tea.
